    Job Summary

    Schedules patients for exams in all the various modalities, keeps track of reports and film files, distributes reports, checks for written orders with an ICD9 code, and checks film files in and out of the department. Takes supervision from the Imaging Director and the Clinical Supervisors.


    Minimum Work Experience
    On-the-job training will be provided.

    Physical Demands
    Requires full range of body motion including: handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.

    Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.

    Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 60 lbs.

    Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

    Occasional stooping and kneeling to access documents and supplies in lower cabinets.

    Occasional reaching, handling, and fingering to complete paperwork, use telephone and computer.

    Constant talking, hearing, and seeing to interact with patients, visitors, and staff. 


    Environmental Conditions
    Location: Inside.

    Occasionally required to work under stressful conditions and to work irregular hours.

    Minimal exposure to radiation.

    Minimal risk of injury due to proximity of moving parts on computer printer.
