The Community Relations and Marketing Department is a fast-paced, dynamic, and service-focused team dedicated to advancing the 120 year Gritman mission of providing exceptional healthcare in all the communities we serve. Reporting to the Director of Community Relations and Marketing, the Generalist for Digital Design and Production will manage the design, production, and implementation process for digital and print deliverables. Primary responsibilities include: managing the Gritman web experience across multiple platforms and user devices; integrating established brand templates across multiple digital and print deliverables; creating and implementing unique online and social content that drives engagement; supporting Gritman events and promotional activities; and being a dedicated contributor to our tight-knit, performance-driven, patient-focused team.


Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or other related field.


Minimum Work Experience
Three or more years of full-time experience working in marketing, digital design, or public relations.


Required Skills
Comprehensive digital design and production, verbal and written communication, project management, content and workflow management.


Essential Functions

  • Manage the Gritman web experience across all platforms, devices, and audiences. 
  • Lead the digital design and production process using established brand guidelines. 
  • Collaborate with all departments in the organization to keep digital and print content fresh and relevant. 
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive digital engagement with the patients and communities we serve. 
  • Be an integrated, contributing member of the Gritman Community Relations and Marketing team.

Functional Demands


Physical Demands
While not a primary responsibility of the position, all Gritman Community Relations and Marketing team members are expected to participate in and support promotional events and activities throughout the calendar year as assigned. These events and activities occur both indoors and outdoors in all seasons, and may require the ability to lift, bend, carry and stack items up to 50 pounds. Use of ladders may also be required.

Environmental Conditions
This position is located at our main hospital campus in downtown Moscow. The office is an indoor facility but work is occasionally off site and outdoors. Occasional exposure to noise from hallway traffic, computers and telephones. Minimal exposure to biohazardous materials.
